The nightmare that became a sweet dream.

A Spyro and Cynder fan fiction.

It was a stormy night; both Spyro and Cynder were asleep.  Spyro woken up to see Cynder twisting and turning, even speaking in her sleep.  He thought that she was cold, so he went up to her and tried wrapping his wing around her to keep her warm.  But as he touched her, the sound of thunders woke Cynder up in complete shock.  She screamed like she spotted a ghost; her whole body was cold in fear.

"Cynder, what's the matter?" said Spryo, and the only thing Cynder was able to do was cry on his shoulders for a few minutes.  Then, she was able to speak, but her voice was trembling.

"Spyro, oh thank the ancestors.  It was terrible! I had a nightmare, and you and me was in it.  So was Malefor, and he corrupted you.  After that, him and you tried killing me.  It felt too sureal, Spyro.  I was so terrified. Spyro, I . . ." as she tried to finish what she was trying to say, Spyro silenced her by pressing his finger softly against her lips.

"Don't worry Cynder, I will never do anything to hurt you . . ." before he finished his statement, he kissed her.  "I love you," he said at last.  Cynder felt happiness in her heart, for she found the answer to the question she always asking herself. The question was, "I love him, but does he love me?"  Finding out the truth, she had the courage to say the same.

"I love you too, Spyro," said Cynder, and then their eyes met each other gaze.  They stared into each other eyes for a moment, then they shared their first kiss.  When they did, the clouds in the sky dissapeared, allowing the moon and the stars to shine down on them.  Their emotional fire for each other burst into a raging wildfire.  The kiss was undescribable, and they could feel the most greatest feeling that only a few are able to feel; true love.  They both fallen asleep next to each other, having the most sweetest dreams that they never had before.

The next morning, the sun rose from the horizon, displaying the most beautiful light show for the new couple.  Cynder was the first to wake up, and she found herself with one of Spyro's wings wrapped around her, yet she didn't cared one bit.  She also found that her tail was wrapped around his, but she left it their, it's a sign of their love for others to see.  A few seconds later, Spyro too woken up to see the two signs; he didn't mind at all either.

"Good morning, my love," they both told each other as they kissed each other.  It felt like their first kiss; their was no words to describe how it felt.  So, they stayed where they were, watching the sunrise that they felt belonged to them.  Afterwards, they can always be found next to each other, with an endless passion for one another.  They live the rest of their life in perfect peace and harmony, knowing that they will never stop loving each other as long as they live.
